The room was on fire last night at
The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, CT! It just keeps getting
hotter! Nine incredible young poets from CT lit the stage at the
Team Finals for the CT National Youth Poetry Slam Team 2006. A
standing room only crowd witnessed these gutsy spoken word artists go
'word to word' for 2 rounds. Applause goes out to all who tried
out and all who participated in the finals.
The top 5 poets will represent CT throughout the next year and will be 1
team out of 40 from across the country to participate in
Brave New Voices in NYC in April.
