Thinking about trying out for 2011?  Read on...................

You must be at least 13 years old and no older than 19 (by July) to try out.  You should come prepared to do at least 3 original poems (memorization is not mandatory).  Poems cannot exceed 3 minutes.  No props, costumes or musical accompaniment.  You will be scored on content and on delivery.  Practice!

Brave New Voices 13 will be in Los Angeles from July 19 to the 25th, 2010.  If you make the team, you need to be available for these dates, along with weekly practice and feature dates to be determined.  If that sounds like a problem, you probably shouldn’t try out.
