If you are a poet between the ages of 13 and 19,
you're eligible to try out for the 2012 team!!
You should prepare at least 3 poems (no longer than 3 minutes each)
And we also need audience and judges
so come on out and support this talented young group of poets!

Minding the Muse: The Practice of Poetry
Manchester Community College Continuing Education:
This series of workshops will focus on the inspiration and
commitment necessary to call oneself a poet. Writers write, and each
class will begin with a poetry writing
exercise designed to spark creativity. Each week participants will bring
their revised work from the week before. The last part of each session
will be set aside for out-loud presentation, along with critique and
support - CRN #12411, 4 Tuesdays, 5/1-5/29
(does not meet 5/15), 6:30-8 p.m. MCC Bldg. GPA GP136 Fee: $60
