I love myself in many ways, and in ways you can't even describe

I love myself not only cuz' my physical appearance, but the person I am inside

I love myself because it's the phenomenal way

I love myself more than Ru Paul loved women before he turned gay

 

I love myself like water love streams

Like dreamers love dreams

I love myself like the neglected loves attention

Not to mention

I love my ability to have an intelligent conversation

I love the way my mind expands like balloons filling with air

I have a creative imagination

 

I love my brown eyes

I love my thick thighs

And I love my coke bottle curvy hips

I love my cute lil' round face and my sexy full lips!

I love my posture

Shoulders straight and head held high

eyes filled with envy as I walk by

 

Should I be intimidated by their envious stare?

It doesn't phase me the least cuz' Mz Cherry Harts does not care

Cuz' I love me

On the inside and out

Before I could learn to love someone else I had to learn what lovin' me was all about

I feel free

I know I can grow up and be all I can be

But see

The confidence came when I started Lovin' Me.
